Why choose the KS 8100iEG?

Choice of fuel: run on petrol or LPG using the model’s dual-fuel system. LPG operation has a lower available output.
High-output inverter power: produces a pure sine wave at 230V and 50Hz for compatible sensitive electrical equipment.
Electric starting: use the multifunction control to start the 16hp KS 480i engine.
Economy Mode: reduces engine speed at light loads to help lower fuel consumption. Follow the manual’s operating guidance.
Clear operating information: the display shows voltage, frequency and operating hours, with indicators and protection for low oil, overload and short circuit.
Copper-wound alternator: a brushless alternator with 100% copper winding supports reliable long-term operation.
Easier positioning: integrated wheels and a transport handle help move the 68kg unit on suitable surfaces.

Power, fuel and connections

Plan your load

Use the rated output and allow for motor starting loads. Stay within socket and cable limits.

For prolonged loads, the manufacturer recommends up to 80% of rated power: 6.4kW on petrol or approximately 5.76kW on LPG.

Check your LPG setup

An LPG hose and pressure-reducing regulator are supplied. Check compatibility with your cylinder; an adapter may be needed.

LPG runtime varies with cylinder size, gas type and load. Do not use petrol and LPG at the same time.

Connection limits

This model has no parallel connection socket and no ATS input. Contact Ordana if either feature is required for your application.

What’s included

KS 8100iEG dual-fuel inverter generator
1.5m LPG hose with pressure-reducing cylinder regulator
Spark-plug wrench
PH2 6.0mm screwdriver

Engine oil, petrol, an LPG cylinder, appliance leads and any cylinder adapter required for your setup are supplied separately.

Before first use

Add the recommended engine oil before starting. Read the owner’s manual, check the oil level and follow the battery connection and fuel setup instructions. The manufacturer specifies unleaded petrol with an octane rating of 90–95 and no more than 10% ethanol.

Operate outdoors, away from doors, windows and air intakes. Exhaust contains carbon monoxide. Keep the generator dry and follow the manual’s clearance, electrical protection, refuelling and maintenance requirements. IP23M does not make the generator suitable for operation in rain.
