Why choose the KS 3000?

Practical power: 2.6kW rated output and 3.0kW maximum output for compatible household, business and worksite equipment.
AVR voltage control: the automatic voltage regulator helps maintain a stable output as connected loads change.
Two UK sockets: connect compatible 230V equipment through two UK 13A household outlets.
Longer petrol runtime: the 15-litre steel tank provides approximately 15 hours at 50% load under the manufacturer’s test conditions.
Clear operating information: the LED display shows voltage, frequency and operating hours.
Protection and monitoring: a circuit breaker and low-oil shutdown help protect the generator during operation.
Durable construction: a copper-wound alternator, tubular frame and anti-vibration dampers support reliable operation.

Power, fuel and connections

Plan your load

Use the 2.6kW rated output, allow for starting loads and stay within socket and cable limits.

For prolonged loads, the manufacturer recommends no more than 80% of rated power: approximately 2.08kW.

Petrol and starting

This is a manual-start petrol generator. Use unleaded petrol with an octane rating of 90–95 and no more than 10% ethanol.

Petrol, engine oil and appliance leads are supplied separately.

AVR and outlets

The generator uses AVR voltage stabilisation rather than inverter technology. Check each appliance’s requirements and starting load before connection.

Outputs: two 230V 13A household sockets and one 12V / 8.3A DC outlet.

What’s included

KS 3000 petrol generator
English operating instructions
Spark-plug wrench

Engine oil, petrol, appliance leads and optional transport accessories are supplied separately.

Before first use

Add the recommended engine oil before starting. Read the owner’s manual, check the oil level and follow the commissioning instructions. The manufacturer specifies unleaded petrol with an octane rating of 90–95 and no more than 10% ethanol.

During the first 20 operating hours, do not connect loads exceeding 50% of rated output. Change the engine oil after the first 20 hours and follow the maintenance schedule in the manual.

Operate outdoors, away from doors, windows and air intakes. Exhaust contains carbon monoxide. Keep the generator dry and follow the manual’s clearance, earthing, electrical protection, refuelling and maintenance requirements. IP23M does not make the generator suitable for operation in rain.
