Ferbo FE33 Yanmar 30 kVA 3 Phase Diesel Prime/Standby Generator

Manufactured in Italy, the Ferbo FE33 is a compact, low‑noise diesel generator designed for demanding backup and off‑grid applications. It uses a rugged Yanmar 4TNV98 four‑cylinder diesel engine and a premium Mecc Alte alternator to deliver dependable 30 kVA prime and 33 kVA standby power at 400‑415 V (three phase). The generator is built inside a heavy‑duty powder‑coated soundproof canopy with anti‑vibration mountings and a bunded base tank, ensuring quiet operation at 62 dB(A) ±3 at 7 m. Each set is supplied complete with batteries and a battery charger, and includes WJH hoses, 6‑way valves and a socket kit.

Key Selling Points

Reliable Yanmar power – the generator is powered by a Yanmar 4TNV98 engine with direct injection and natural aspiration. The engine produces up to 52.1 kW and is known for fuel‑efficiency and longevity. Yanmar backs the engine with a five‑year warranty.
Quiet and compact – Ferbo’s T60 soundproof canopy and internal exhaust muffler keep noise to just 62 dB(A) ±3 at 7 m. Despite delivering commercial‑grade power, the set measures only 2100 × 870 × 1165 mm and weighs about 835 kg, making it easy to transport and install.
Heavy‑duty alternator – a Mecc Alte R 120 shunt alternator provides ±1 % voltage regulation and is wound to Class H with an IP23 protection rating. The alternator is coupled to the engine via a flex‑disk coupling on a welded steel base with anti‑vibration mounts.
User‑friendly control – the set comes with a professional control module offering automatic mains failure (AMF), auto‑start and two‑wire remote start functions. The COMAP IL4 AMF 9 controller monitors mains voltage, generator voltage/current/power and engine data and automatically starts the set on a power failure. A Lovato RGK 420 manual panel with OFF/LOCAL/REMOTE positions, LCD display, emergency stop button and multiple socket outlets (63 A, 32 A and 16 A) provides manual or remote operation.
Generous fuel autonomy – the integrated 100 L bunded base tank gives excellent run time. Fuel can be filled externally through a lockable hatch; the set also has lifting hooks and a central lifting eye for easy handling.
Complete solution – each FE33 is supplied with batteries and a charger; optional extras such as remote monitoring gateways, plug‑socket combinations, super‑silent canopies, bulk fuel tanks and trailer mounts can be added.
Warranty & support – Ferbo’s warranty covers prime use for two years or 2 000 hours and standby use for five years. Engine and alternator warranties are supplied by their manufacturers.

Applications

The FE33 is ideal for businesses needing reliable prime or standby power. Its compact, quiet design makes it suitable for agricultural sites, construction, small businesses and off‑grid homes. The 3‑phase output allows it to power workshops and light industrial equipment, while the socket panel supports plug‑and‑play tools. Its robust build and bunded base tank also make it well‑suited to rental fleets or rural installations.
