SolarEdge 430W TOPCon solar panel with built-in optimiser

The SolarEdge 430W Mono Half-Cut TOPCon Solar Panel with Built-in Optimiser combines a bifacial N-type module with a pre-assembled S440 power optimiser. The SPV430-R54PDTL provides 22.02% module efficiency under standard test conditions, individual module optimisation and performance monitoring as part of a compatible SolarEdge system.

Key features

Individual module optimisation: the integrated S440 optimiser tracks each panel’s maximum power point rather than relying solely on string-level tracking.
Pre-assembled optimiser: simplifies installation and cable management, with MC4 input and output connections.
Bifacial double-glass module: 108 monocrystalline half-cut cells with 1.6 mm tempered glass on both sides; rear-side generation depends on the installation layout and reflected light.
Monitoring and safety functions: SolarEdge module-level monitoring and SafeDC voltage shutdown. Sense Connect is designed to detect and help prevent potential connector-level electrical arcs, subject to inverter model and firmware version.
Manufacturer warranties: 25 years for the module and optimiser, plus a 30-year linear performance warranty specifying 99% output in year one and 89.4% at year 30, subject to warranty terms.

Where to use

Suitable applications include warehouses, logistics facilities, commercial and industrial rooftops, agricultural buildings and residential solar PV systems designed around compatible SolarEdge inverters.

This panel is a system component, not a stand-alone power supply. The inverter model, optimiser string length, connected power, DC protection and monitoring configuration must be checked as part of the complete system design.

Use mounting hardware suitable for the 30 mm frame and the approved attachment zones. Mechanical load limits vary with the mounting arrangement, and bifacial output depends on mounting height, shading, spacing and the reflectivity of the surface below the panels.

Where the complete system cannot be used out of the box, installation can be arranged through trusted partners.

For multiple-string designs, the stated maximum connected power is permitted only when the connected-power difference between strings is 2000 W or less.
If inverter rated AC power is no greater than maximum continuous power per string, connected power per string may reach the inverter’s maximum DC input power, subject to SolarEdge’s Single String Design Guidelines.
The 6800 W Home Wave figure applies to inverters rated at least 8000 W AC and connected to at least two strings.
Validate the final design against the exact inverter model, current manufacturer guidance and the installation manual.
